I would love to watch a standup special where the first half was all relatable “isn’t it hard to pick up your kid from school sometimes?” stuff and then after an extremely abrupt tone shift the second half was all about how the Khmer Rouge was right actually.

Josef Albers's paintings... might be the most extreme example I can think of of something where I intellectually think that they are objectively good and that I should like them, and at the same time viscerally just not liking them. Is there anything like that for you?
