Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.

I was just marvelling at her performance in the Douthat podcast. TLDR: impressive that the NYT can frame it as 'did liberal feminism ruin the workplace' when all three participants are ASSUMING so & merely workshopping contradictory theories to backstop that assumption. bsky.app/profile/jhol...
Which should (if you were a rational truth-seeker) call into question WHETHER it's clearly true. Suppose you have a group of people who agree there is a terrible, urgent moral threat to 'the children'. They are in unified moral panic so far. But one subgroup says it's aliens the other, it's demons.

There's a video of a woman yelling about this that I found and she's right: this type of shit is *why* churches and religious organizations are not the answer here. The gov progs are wider reaching and (ideally) non-discriminatory. The churches can refuse whomever they want.

Absolutely. We have deprioritized other areas of education to our own peril and we are seeing the fallout from that. We need historians, philosophers, and so many other disciplines more than ever. We need people to be able to think holistically and critically with high level of creativity.
