On assisted dying: There are 50 MPs wanting to widen it to include ‘being unable to self care’. There are no safeguards to prevent its expansion People will choose this as they don’t have good quality other options. First we must fix social care and make hospices gov funded #nhs #assisteddying

If people don’t have access to a good standard of living due to government failure they are more likely to choose assisted dying. This is social pressure. Until we address why disabled people are made to feel like a burden on their families and the state it’s not safe to have this debate. #nhs
