One of the best parts of this game is the collection of disappointed Hollywood celebrity faces the cameraman is showing. Like, dang, I have to sit through another inning?

A first ever for me....

While walking with Joe and the dog a squirrel fell out of a tree onto the ground. We were all so stunned that we froze solid. A few seconds after we realized what happened it recovers and races back up the tree.

Maybe it was aiming for us and missed. #dropsquirrels

I've donated to my local public TV and radio stations for well over a decade. This year's fundraising drives hit so much different.

This morning the WYPR morning program "On The Record" broadcast its last episode and I received postal mail from WETA (DC). I got one from WYPF (Frederick) last week.

EA Games was big in my childhood, especially Ultima and The Bard's Tale series. Lately, not so much.

I stupidly gave Blizzard another shot. Diablo IV was lackluster.

I hate that this space of my spending has become such a political minefield with so many abysmal actors to avoid. Worse than retail.

It's been a long time since I've played a game on its release day. I only had about ~90 minutes of free time, but I managed to get past Hecate, unlock a second weapon, and about 6 boons.

I'm looking forward to uncovering the story as well.

For those of you asking where your donation can do the most good, this site is your answer. It's gonna take this kind of quick, creative problem-solving to keep public media working for everyone.
Last month, Congress voted to end public media’s federal funding. Now, local stations across the country are at risk of going dark.

That’s why we built adoptastation.org — a simple way to support a station in need.

Adopt one. Spread the word. Save public media.

This scene is from 1988. It (unknowingly) references an event that will happen in 1991.

We know that Lt. Commander Data is a time traveler. Maybe he knew.

After 7-odd years Paramount has finally discovered I had an unpaid subscription and terminated my free access. This was initially caused by a retention action. I was granted a free month for an extremely large value of month.

With the cancelation of The Late Show, I probably won't start paying now.

I thought only Congress could levy taxes and, at that, the bill would have to start in the House.

How is this even happening?

The funniest thing about the electricity surcharge is that it's the same as an import tarriff in effect -- US customers will pay more for Canadian exports -- except that Canada keeps the tax revenues for this one.
