"The Fourteenth Amendment prohibits states from depriving any person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. The Supreme Court has held that this protection extends to all natural persons (i.e., human beings), regardless of race, color, or citizenship."

Many products sold in the U.S. are made in El Salvador. In response to the El Salvador president’s statements today, we’re calling for an immediate boycott of all Salvadoran-made goods. Please help by listing any products or brands made in El Salvador in the comments below.

This is not deportation. This is kidnapping and human trafficking.
stop calling things deportation just because they call it deportation.

-You cannot legally deport people without due process.

-You cannot legally deport citizens.

-They are defining down deportation to break the law.
Leavitt confirmed that the WH is working on deporting US citizens to El Salvador

I'm proud to say I refer to these laws all the time.
Some people seem to think that invoking “Ranganathan’s Five Laws of Library Science” is just a bit of goofy, mockable nerdery. Maybe because of unexamined racism?

I regard them as articulating a perfect, beautiful, powerful normative ideal for libraries. A banner worth marching under. 📚
This is not a library. It violates every one of Ranganathan’s Laws:

Books are for use.
Every person their book.
Every book its reader.
Save the time of the reader.
A library is a growing organism.

A “library” that literally closes its doors to ANY patron is a salon for fascists. 📚

I recall exactly where I was on this day. Walking into the Wareham Free Library for a CE program we were hosting, I felt so happy to live in this state that was breaking new ground in providing basic civil rights. 20 years later, and it still hasn't destroyed my heterosexual marriage. #Shocking
