If England decided it wanted to vote on becoming independent, do you think it would have to ask Scotland’s permission first?

Governments are elected to represent the people. Not private equity companies. Not hedge funds. Not foreign sovereign wealth funds and the dictatorships controlling them. But somehow that memo went down the back of Labour's sofa.

The 10 most deprived areas in the UK have 9 in England and one in NI. Glasgow the first Scottish area ranks as 26th. Prior to the SNP govt Scottish areas were in that top 10. You might be scunnered because we’re not independent (understandable) but how much worse off would we be without the SNP

Why should UK MPs be registered to vote & be resident in the UK?

Voting is a basic civic duty. If MPs aren't even registered to vote they can't fully engage with the democratic process & can't represent the public who elected them.

Please sign & share.

The well-being of citizens is of utmost importance in a true democracy. Every policy & alliance should serve this purpose.

When a Gov consistently prioritises the interests of a few over the majority, it ceases to be a democracy.

If not a Gov by & for the people, it is an oligarchy in disguise.

Scottish independence isn’t anti-English, it’s pro-democracy.

I believe all four nations deserve to shape their own futures as equals, not as colonies.

That includes Scotland’s independence and Ireland’s reunification.

Neighbours.
Not subjects of the union.
