You do realise that the UK govt hasn't even decided on long term storage of nuclear waste from 1960s nuclear submarines and the civilian nuclear programme? But hey...stuff the green energy; more nuclear power contracts for foreign investors.

It’s dreadful, what can possibly be the reason stopping her. It’s so disappointing
My newly, highly qualified neice can't get a doctor's job anywhere in the UK so is thinking about Australia. Such a shame too as unlike in England Scotland paid for her training. Such a loss.

Good point, there are communities with appalling bus services. Improving these would be better use of £££
I agree I’m happy for the 22yr olds and under I think it helps them a lot. However this will only benefit people where the bus service is of a really good standard and that certainly isn’t the case in most places so they won’t swap their cars for public transport

Right wing supporter of Front Nationale espousing right wing propaganda and despite being called a feminist in the 1960’s belied the French ‘me too’ movement. She fought for animal rights but gave little thought to women, migrants or anyone not a white French male tbh

It would have happened decades ago if the limited capital budget wasn’t prioritised on the Edinburgh tram- voted for by Labour and tithes, voted against by the SNP
Why are they continually moaning? A plan is in place, which if Westminster stopped cutting Scotland’s budget, would happen quicker.
No doubt they’ll complain about traffic during the road works.
These things don’t happen overnight!

Calling independence a fantasy doesn’t make it one - it just avoids the argument

Scotland keeps voting for parties backing self-government while Westminster repeatedly ignores Scottish mandates.

That’s not an itch, it’s a democratic problem that Westminster can't avoid forever.

A matter of time.

I don’t believe that this is the best Green policy you could use your influence for. How much will it cost that could be used on: improved infrastructure in towns & cities? Increased EV usage? Reduce cost of rail fares? Grants for resi battery storage? Poverty reduction measures? Housing upgrades?
Cheap public transport is a win-win for people and planet. It means less congestion, less air pollution, and more money in your pocket.

4 years ago we delivered free bus travel for under 22s, now we have the opportunity to deliver it for another 500,000 people aged up to 30.
