Note: in the clip I said the wills project covered the period 1540-1780. WRONG!! It's actually 1540-1790, we have a whole extra decade to think about, lucky us.

That last one is the Kinsol Trestle, one of the tallest free-standing timber railway trestles in the world - it's 105 years old and has been turned into a walkway as part of the Vancouver Island hiking trail! Brilliant way to continue the life of a historic structure.

FOUND HIM. Mr George Henshaw, consul of Genoa. Alongside his body (embalmed and in an iron coffin) he leaves his brother a ring set with sapphire which belonged to their uncle and "all my firearms muskets harquebusses accoutrements & furniture for fowling and hunting"
