You will never convince me that gen AI is “smart” when all of the spell checks can’t even distinguish between a period that ends a sentence and a period used for an abbreviation and defaults to capitalizing the next word regardless.

I don’t go on FB much and my friend list has needed a purge. So given recent events, it’s been so powerful to go on their RIP posts, write “Hope he rots”, and then unfriend them. Sometimes you just need that for your mental health.

Every time I struggle at work with making a bit of coding work, I just remember that I’m better than the people who would just use generative algorithms to try to solve it & it makes the elation of solving the problem that much greater.
