Day 4 of budget week at Calgary city hall. Some councillors (Tyers, Jamieson) hoping to cut climate spending. Some hoping to cut funding for downtown office conversions. Others hoping to invest $ to keep Old Y in Beltline going. Today starts with more council questions of admin. #yyccc

If one was to do the equivalent of live-tweeting a city council meeting, as was done back in the day... where would one do it? Here? Threads? My sense is the juice isn't worth the squeeze with social media so fragmented... but it might double as a useful "notebook" for me.

Long walk while listening to budget public presentations to city council. Went from Renfrew to West Hillhurst and back. Gotta say, this is a pretty nice way to take in #yyccc!
