Impeach Trump
BREAKING NEWS: Trump has taken possession of his bribe, in contravention of federal criminal statute and the Constitution. He’s hiding behind the USAF and DOJ to intimidate Congress—which must initiate impeachment proceedings.

Bribery is one of two enumerated impeachable offenses.

Springsteen’s not just Born to Run—he’s born to speak truth. Total badass move including those remarks on the EP. We need everyone, famous or not, to call out injustice, stand up, and speak truth to power. Silence is complicity.
After Bruce Springsteen criticized the Trump administration on tour, the president said he should “KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT.” Springsteen, undeterred, included his comments on a new release.

This is brilliant. Let’s do it!
Our goal is to have 1000 SUFS Teach Ins across the US, by 9/30.

*GASP* 😮

We know, it's a big goal.

If you've received tax dollars for your science, you have a responsibility to inform *your* community what is at stake: public health, the economy, innovation, and America's global leadership.

T Big leap in diagnostic AI: AMIE outperforms physicians on many fronts. But before robots replace doctors, two questions:

Who carries the legal risk if AI gets it wrong? Will patients ever feel truly cared for without a human in the loop?
2 important papers @nature.com today indicate the potential for A.I. to improve diagnostic accuracy and overall clinical performance for patient management and interactions

We absolutely should communicate public wins, but not everything needs a podium and press conference. Real leadership is knowing when to speak and when to let the work speak for itself.

Would love to see both parties find that balance between silent competence and performative governance.
We went from 4 years of an Admin that never promoted/hyped their accomplishments (to their detriment), to an Admin that calls daily press conferences to promote/hype things that the govt does on a fairly routine basis. Maybe Dems can find a happy medium at some point.

American higher education would be in a much stronger position today if it had made a proactive case to the public for its own importance—and taken steps to address its very real shortcomings.
