finally starting to upload some Claribel song PDFs to IMSLP. and alright, I know IMSLP predominantly handles more mainstream Olde Musicke. nonetheless, I am staring at this genre/style list with the sort of roiling, dissociative loathing I usually reserve for Temu ads
The list of available "piece styles" for newly uploaded pieces of music on IMSLP.org. It's a required field, and its options are, in order: ancient, medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, classical, Romantic, "Early 20th century," Modern, Jazz, "Traditional (folk)," and "Non-western classical."
