i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

Biden, who won with a MUCH larger majority than Trump, was not permitted to govern as an autocrat. He was expected to obey the law and respect norms, he was resisted frequently and immediately, and his efforts were often blocked. But the DC power class has decided Trump's win simply makes him king.

When W.'s approval was in the 20s did political journalists go around hectoring free republic posters about how they needed to acknowledge this or whatever? No they did not. They barely acknowledged it themselves. Dean Broder wrote "comeback kid' columns
