I realized after Tuesday last week, despite election losses, airport disaster, and spreading chaos, nothing could make the GOP care about Americans struggling with food insecurity and rising costs for health care. It simply does not matter to them, somehow their callous disregard surprises me still.

Big fan of the Strike books, exceptionally plotted and outlined. Only two books left! I think this series will stand the test of time and be 'discovered' by plenty more readers after its complete. Much better than most books in the genre.

This is a great reminder that I need to go back and read 'The Ring of Solomon'.

Please come out to California one day, as things currently stand we are barely associated with the regime in Washington D.C. and actively resist their agenda.

Galaphile is the 30th Shannara novel! Keeping track of the Four Lands lore thus far would be a considerable challenge for any writer. 'The Last Druid' felt like a conclusion and 'Galaphile' feels like passing the torch. Congrats to Terry and thank you!

This is not a Rowling discussion and I am not even going there. My point is more related with certainty and extremism. We think our perspective is so certain that it enables us to take extreme actions.

This Tesla 180 turn is reminiscent of the extremist Christian burning of the Potter books in the early 2000's and the book burning of the same books by liberal 'activists' today. This knee jerk reaction, vandalize cars? Makes sense. Book burning? Sure! Not so far from, bring out the pitchforks! 🤪
