It's not a common experience for me to be awestruck by what ancient people accomplished. On a special few instances, I have felt so. In Korea, the rock-cut Buddhist art of Silla and Baekje have made me pause on a few occasions in awe of their master craftsmanship and artistry.

The typically non-partisan positions such as the Joint Chief of Staffs and the Librarian of Congress were recently fired. Additionally, 54 Afrikaners are being expedited for 'refugee' status and granted a fast track to citizenship. Read the writing on the wall. www.npr.org/2025/05/09/n...

I wonder how audiences will respond to a story in Westeros that is more adventure and less dark than previous shows. The novellas are brilliant and include a rarity in Martin's writing, an honorable knight.
