My favorite tree is this hybrid oak at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It’s been there forever, it loses limbs occasionally in bad storms, and they prop the rest of it up, and they plant Daffodil Hill under it every year.

Update: I went to a different Apple Store, told them the same story, and they were like “okay, thanks, we’ll put it in lost and found”. And now I want to go find that first person and throw small soft fruits at them.
But on the up side, I’m no longer getting alerts about an AirTag “moving with me”.

Anyway, I'm going to be near an Apple store again tomorrow and if they tell me they can't take it back, I'm just going to leave it on their counter, say "tough titties", and walk away.

You know, to the store, that has a contract with an e-waste recycler, unlike me, who would have to find a place that accepts e-waste because you can't just throw it in the trash. Which, IT'S NOT MY AIRTAG, why should I have to go out of my way to get rid of it?

Because I looked it up and Apple's own website says you can bring your Apple products BACK TO THE STORE to be recycled.

I tried looking up the owner contact information which you're supposedly able to do but I got nothing. So I took it to the Apple Store near work yesterday. And the guy there was like "sorry, we're not allowed to take them back" and, reader, I should have pushed back.

Anyway, I searched the whole suitcase twice before I noticed that there's a "play a sound" feature in the Find My app so I finally found it. And then it was like well, what the hell do I do with this?

He’s also in the top 3 of authors whose books I will always buy. Even without prior knowledge. Because I just know and trust the book will be good. I haven’t been wrong yet!

Having watched the whole movie now, eh…. I think the cinematic universe could attack Finland better. More conclusively and convincingly.
