I've been really getting back into Counter Strike this past week. I took a pretty substantial break at the end of last year, but now that I'm back, it just feels so good! I'm sure this will have no adverse effects on my willpower to complete assignments...

I see way too much US-centric content on all my social media feeds. I know more about current events there than in my own country. I understand why this happens, but it would be nice to see more from my region.

I may have just found the best place to eat in Edinburgh. It's the 'Victor Hugo Deli' near the Meadows. The food is simply amazing, and the service was excellent. There is also outdoor seating, which overlooks the Meadows. I highly recommend that if you are nearby in Edinburgh to try it.

Just finished a job interview, feeling good about the interview itself and my relevant experience. However, I'm concerned that my availability isn't what they are looking for, so I'm definitely worried.

I keep trying to play Stardew Valley to relax only to get stressed out by planning the days for maximum farm efficiency and worrying about getting all the chores packed into the days. It's a more stressful game to me than Elden Ring or any survival horror game

Just about to leave and go back to Edinburgh to get ready for the new semester. I didn't realise just how much I missed living in the countryside until I came back over the holidays. I've also attached a photo I took of some Highland Cows because they are awesome.

Just finished watching War of the Rohirrim. Personally, I don't understand the backlash. I think people expect too much when LOTR is in the title. It is not trying to be the original trilogy. It is a standalone story and should be treated as such. I'm not saying all critism is invalid, of course.
