@clrenney.bsky.social what would be economic impact if we aligned Govt Frontline workers to aussies median police, nurses, teachers. Etc
an instant $5k pay bump and over 3 years raise in salary to match the median for same job in Australian states. remove the financial reason to go to Australia.

Only a few weeks to the #nfldraft. I really hope the #seahawks find a difference maker in the 1st round, then on day-2 grab quality starters for O-Line, Corner, Reciver and D-Line.

Seahawks have pick 18 in 2025 NFL draft next month.
Should they stick and pick or move back? According to Rich Hill trade chart trading back from pick 18 to 28, should get you pick 60 (a late round 2 pick). Is that worth it? #seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks won 10 games with a first-year head coach, a 34-year-old QB, and missed winning the NFC West on the fifth tie-breaker.

Some will tell you this was not a successful season.

#seahawks Drafting good QB after rnd 1 is hard. In last 5 drafts 57 QBs selected. 38 drafted rnds 2-7. Of those maybe only Jalen Hurts and Brock Purdy better than Geno. That's 5.3% chance of hitting on a better QB when Drafting after round 1. @seahawksforever.bsky.social @corbinsmithnfl.bsky.social

#seahawks going into the 4th qtr no TDs and only 3 point lead makes me so nervous. We need to win this.

The Post has Taxpayers Union communications officers writing for them. So unfortunately The Post's behaviour towards Tory Whanau is unsurprising.

Also note the Canadian university he went to, Saskatchewan is the same area David Seymour lived when working for his Atlas Canadian think tanks #Nzpol

#nzpol so I wonder how the Boomers feel about working hard thier whole life, paying tax and building a strong set of public services. Now to see the dismantling of the NZ public service through austerity. Surely they are as upset as younger generations. This must be ticking them off?

My top 5 priorities for Seahawks this off-season.

1. Extend Geno Smith
2. Sign a high-quality vet Guard.
3. Extend Ernest Jones
4. Draft potential starter interior O-Line
5. Replace Grubb

*i reserve the right to change my mind when the offseaon actually gets here.

NZ’s economy wasn’t in recession before the election. In the past 6 months the economy has dropped faster than any time since 1991 (excluding COVID). This is what the politics of austerity does. Nicola Willis and Christopher Luxon are clearly making things worse not better!

Treasury expected to downgrade GDP growth & tax forecasts as Government's spending cuts & building freezes hit the economy; Willis expected to delay surplus & lift borrowing forecast by $6 billion

With the Rams win today, that sets up a 3 team race for the NFC West. Going into week 17 could see 3 teams on 8 or 9 wins. Seahawks getting a home win against Green Bay or Minnesota is important. #azcardinals @ #laRams in wk 17, then #Seahawks @ Rams in week 18 look like season defining games.
