It really feels like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for new ideas and just threw in the same junk they've been adding to all their other recent games.
At least it means I can continue holding out on getting a Nintendo Switch 2 for a while longer.

But honestly as someone who likes Metroid Prime, I have to agree.
Between the yappy tutorial character, the pointless open-world, and the stupid motorcycle that Nintendo feels the need to add into *every* open-world game, it's hard to feel hyped anymore.

Instead of trying to sell your game by dissuading people from playing it, you should just tell the truth and say your game is fucking cool and its highest selling point is filtering out people who aren't fucking cool.

One of my cats really enjoys dead-weight body-flopping his entire self onto my face while I'm asleep. And if it's not that then he's trying to shove his head into my mouth. Still trying to workshop a solution that doesn't involve throwing him out the window.

Well, it's a budget game in spirit. I feel like they blew their entire budget on designing the main character and giving her motion capture, and then had to quickly slap a rudimentary game around it at the finish line.

Not really a "bad" game. I was just expecting it to be more like a sci-fi Devil May Cry when instead it was a linear and monotonous arcade game. The main campaign is extremely short, but there's incentive to replay with unlockable outfits with different stats and abilities. It's a budget game.

I bought P.N.03 shortly after launch because I saw previews of it in Nintendo Power and thought it looked cool. I was immensely disappointed but stuck with it through multiple playthroughs due to sunk cost fallacy. I've warmed up to it over the years. You just gotta be in the right mood for it.

People forget that Vincent existed in Silent Hill 3. He was both "sexy" and darkly comedic in a Jeff Goldblum kinda way.
And let's not forget how the main villain of Silent Hill 4 was basically just a buff version of Kurt Cobain. Sexy in that grunge, Gen X, dangerous-feeling way.

I really wanted one of these but my parents refused. Too expensive for them plus they thought all mail-order stuff was a scam. Different times.
I did eventually get a ceramic pendant ocarina from somewhere I don't remember, but it ended up shattering. I still have the pieces in storage somewhere.
