Got to spend the afternoon with Addie, my 5-week-old great granddaughter. (And did I remember to take any photos? Of course not . . . ) She has reddish hair and blue eyes, so far.

Hurricane season starts Sunday!!
It seems like now would be a good time to remind everyone that the few people left at the NWS and NOAA are predicting an extra active season.
Even suggesting to stock up on shelf stable foods for 6 months, and TP.
Good luck and blessed be. Were fucked.

My Latin textbooks have arrived! (My high school didn't offer Latin, only French and Spanish, and I've always regretted not having a chance to learn . . . well, some at least.
