This PRIDE month I'd like to share a queer thing that brings me joy each day.
Starting with "Fall for Him" by Andie Burke. A book about a guy who literally falls into the bed of his downstairs neighbor. A good look at ADHD on one hand, and grief on another. I read it thrice in a row. Charming.

Successfully did the endgame for the second time! woo! Gale Proposed, and Withers called me out on making Karlach carry all my loot. Loved the build I was able to accomplish with this run. I could blast chain lightning 5 times a day.

I collected every dagger during the Murder Tribunal and Face Orin quest lines. So ridiculous! 2033 gold just from daggers!

reached the point in Act 3 in BG3 where I just have main quests to do. I've purchased every strong magic item that I would want or need. I've reached 48,000 gold, and thus I am about to get everyone blessed by a god in the old fashion way - just paying for it.

I think a lot about the chance we had at the start of COVID to finally become a more compassionate, collectivist nation, and how profoundly we were failed not only by the sociopathic greed of the ruling class but by each other.
It doesn’t mean we won’t get there, but the lost opportunity haunts me.

Solid start of a book. However as with many fantasy genre books: one of the main characters has a name that my brain can't simply wrap around for a constant pronunciation. Distracting but doable.
I have a e-book on loan from my Library that I haven't even started due to my recent BG3 hyperfixation. So I recently just started Act 3 and my plan is to not play it until I finished the book. Wish me luck.
