Josh Frydenburg climbing over a pile of bodies to launch his political comeback is genuinely one of the most repulsive things I've witnessed in Australian politics. Have some shame.

Albanese has I think showed very strong leadership in the wake of the Bondi massacre. Has not attempted to self aggrandise as others have, has stayed out of the gutter politicking by Ley and Frydenberg. Got on with tightening gun laws.

Everyone gets their election thinkpiece. This is mine: Malcolm Roberts Vs Gerald Rennick for a final Senate spot is the Godzilla vs King Kong match-up of this election, but only if the lizard and the big ape were tiny figurines carved from rancid tins of spam, fighting it out in a burning toilet.
This is why we can have nice things.
Today is the Festival of Schadenfreude.

You have the best political reporter & analyst on your panel but you let her sit idle most of the night while your empty suit political lead talks on, over & through everything (then repeats it) just seems like a stupid decision don’t you think?

Remember how legacy media thought we should debate Welcome to Country for a few days because a neonazi arsehole said so?

Really hope a few editors reflect on this election result and the racist fucking cancer they pushed.

Glad electorate has comprehensively said fuck off.

Tonight, Australia voted No to ignorance & Yes to Acknowledgement; No to xenophobia & Yes to Welcomes; No to regression & Yes to progress.

Peter Dutton, Jacinta Price, Clive Palmer, Pauline Hanson, the IPA & Advance henceforth have no mandate. They’ve been thoroughly told NO.

The outrage over WelcomeToCountry is a cynical ploy by Peter Dutton, exploiting Australia’s racial tensions for votes. It’s laughable that a respectful acknowledgment of Indigenous custodianship has become a political battleground. This isn’t leadership; it’s divisive pandering. Focus on real issues

Another reminder that you should be strongly boycotting Melbourne Storm matches, merch and any other money-making activities they’re part of and if you’re already a member you should be cancelling it and loudly telling the club why.

Thanks for the reminder @anthonyklan.bsky.social.

A nurse. A teacher. A small biz owner — paying more tax than a multinational. That’s not fair. And the major parties? They've let it slide. A balanced parliament changes that. Independents keep tax reform on the table. Independence works. #auspol #VoteIndependent

Here was a giant of a man. A man who respected and acknowledged the first inhabitants of this land. To think this country is even contemplating putting a dog like Dutton into the lodge is beneath decency and contempt.

The welcome to country was booed at the Melbourne dawn service.

This group of bad actors, "Advance", has been aggressively sowing hate and division behind-the-scenes against the Indigenous ceremony.

Advance is quietly funded by the Liberal Party. (ICYMI:)
