15 yrs ago, I taught a kids’ comics class, and one of my assignments was to adapt a book into a silent comic. I did an example using a popular book. The class loved it, so I said I’d do the whole series if they worked hard. I’m disappointed by the franchise now, but I’m still fond of this comic.

[Commission] Fathers Nature

Done for a friend of their Baldurs Gate 3 Oc and their friends Oc

I love this piece and I’m glad I was able to help bring these characters to life!
A commission done for a friend. A set of Baldurs gate o.c.s are against a red gradient background with a dark red line around the border. Carmine, A white Dragonborn with a shocked expression, sheds a red tear as he holds a dead vampire bat in his bloody mouth. His white clawed hands drenched in the bats blood. In front of him in the middle ground of the piece is Rishon. A vampire with long pointed ears, adorned in gold accents along his black outfit. On his chest, what seems to be an oval stone, mimicking an eye. Rishon sheds a red tear with a shocked and worried expression, his mouth dripping blood as he holds a small dead white dragon in his hand. Both Carmine and Rishon are in black and white. In the foreground is a much younger Carmine and rishon. They wear a form of uniform, a long black dress with a shawl over their shoulders, carmines is lined in red and Rishons is lined in purple. Both have four gold buttons on their abdomen. Both of them are playing with stuffed animals, Carmine with a plush bag with red eyes and rishon with a plush white dragon. These were simpler times. Their father’s nature, however, caught up to them.
