I'm Brian and so is my wife.

Any legal commentary is not legal advice or the official position of anyone in particular, but a secret third thing.
I don't know what the punishment is for refusing to follow an order by a person sincerely but unreasonably + incorrectly believed was illegal, but I'm guessing it's lower than the punishment for murder.

There's a lot of unhelpful noise, but if you follow explain the joke subreddit, it will tell you a lot about the kind of sex jokes people often don't understand.

My feeble mind can't comprehend, explain the joke for me my friend!
Your friend sent you a meme and you don't get it? Random image has everyone laughing and you're too dense to understand? Verbal joke a friend said, and you wanna type it out and ask the internet what ...

This is a bit, right?

How many people pay off their mortgage now before they sell? 10%?

The second point I was trying to make is that explaining how bad this is and why is really hard in 300 characters. I think I'm north of 1200, and I've used a lot of short hand and incomplete ideas that risk sending a different message than one I intended.

I have no idea whose name is there or why their service apparently has the wrong person. But it's a screenshot from a chatgpt url. Under different circumstances, id provide a link. But I won't here because I think they're terrible. Here's a screenshot with slightly more information.

It's a screenshot from googling therapist gpt. The main point I tried to make is that chat gpt claims that it can offer therapy services.

LLMs have done some terrible things while providing therapy. If it only claimed to be a chatbot (and never claimed to be a therapist), that would be less bad.

I only half blame people who talk about these cases for failing to convey the depth of how disturbing they are. Not everyone has the capacity to process that and share it. If I had a huge audience or was talking to people who were not already in the weeds I might put a trigger warning.

It's not just failing to do enough to present suicide in an abstract sense. Raising awareness about these cases is important - because I don't see how anyone who reads about them can conclude that chat gpt is like a notebook.

Chat gpt advertises a therapy service.

Shortly before shamblin killed himself, chatgpt identified that he should be connected to emergency services and then didn't do that. www.cnn.com/2025/11/06/u...

It gave Adam Raines the specs to make sure the rope he hung himself with was sufficient. 1/2

Firing a bunch of people for trying to unionize is a little spicier than most culture war reasons.

I struggle with blaming victims of fraud for other people's bad conduct. It's an easier sell to say banks and institutional investors have an obligation to see through a lot of the smoke around AI
November 7, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Are there penalties for firing people for union related activity? Who has the burden?

It's usually hard to say whether someone did or could see something coming. But here it did see it coming!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

And remember this: the Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle.
