45’s been great so far. Cake and presents at breakfast, followed by brunch and shopping with my mom, and planning on splitting a nice bottle of Prosecco with Rick later this evening. Doesn’t get much better than that! Im a lucky girl, that’s for sure.

My postcards are all done and ready to be addressed! I’m sending these to anyone who let us send band fundraiser emails or texts, because I hate sending friends and family unsolicited messages. If you wanted one and missed out this go round, trust there will be future fundraisers to incentivize.

It’s that time where I make postcards to send to those who kindly let us spam their emails or texts with band fundraiser messages! Worked on the quotes this afternoon. Watch soon for the finished products and then we’ll make some thank you cards for those who donated!

The world has been heavy lately, and between that and just general busy-ness, I’ve had a bit of a creative block. Today I used a slow drawing pattern on the left page to help break out of the block and calm my mind a bit. I’ll keep moving forward as long as I am able.

I haven’t been creating much lately, so yesterday I took a few minutes to do some Gelli plate printing to warm up those creative muscles. Want a postcard in the mail from me? I’ll send a postcard to anyone who donates to our kids’ fundraiser. I’ll link below.

Decided to jump on the book blanket bandwagon. Here’s a square for the book I finished this morning! I’ll have to play catchup on the previous books I’ve finished this year.

Trump's rampage through the federal bureaucracy is about amassing unchecked power.

It's about purging the people who could throw sand in the gears.

We all know bureaucracy frustrates and slows things down. But it can also frustrate and slow down would-be tyrants.

That's why he's wrecking it.

PSA: the CDC has a program that pays for your COVID vaccine if your insurer won't. The guy at CVS told me that my insurer had not added the new vaccine to its formulary yet, so I'd need to pay $190. I told him about this program, showed him the website, and paid nothing. 🤗
