I want everyone in my family who voted for trump to feel that deep, personal conflict when made to confront the reality that their choices directly affect my life. As in climate change, COVID or my job as a federal scientist. Sit with that discomfort and look me in the eye and tell me you love me?

Listened to the excellent @volts.wtf episode on climate change and insurance today. It struck me that people are so inured by the words climate change anymore that maybe we should instead refer to everything as climate RISK? It truly is the nut when it comes right down to climate effects.
