Comey stated that "a message has to be sent that the president of the United States cannot use the Department of Justice to target his political enemies.” If only that were so. Trump's assault on the rule of law is not over.

Trump’s pardons of Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and others indicted under state law for election-related conspiracies and other state law crimes are legally invalid. The move is an unconstitutional power grab from the states, possibly designed to wind up in litigation and ultimately the Supreme Court.
