Thank goodness for vaccines!! Got a flu shot last fall, and now I think I have the actual flu, but symptoms are mild. Low fever, some body aches, fatigue, but not too bad except for the 1st day. I definitely know I'm sick, and I definitely realize it could be MUCH worse.

Another tough night at work, once I got here! The Sawgrass was completely blocked because a semi carrying watermelons 🍉 tipped over at the Atlantic exit so I was a little delayed.

Saw my GP today. I've lost 10 pounds (grad school weight) and cut my cholesterol in half. Made healthy tweaks to the way I eat similar to the Mediterranean diet, and got back to walking. Dr told me: walk after meals to bring blood sugar down so I try to walk after dinner. It's working!!! 🎉
