This attack on #Magdeburg didn’t just happen in my German hometown. This happened in my neighborhood One block over. It’s where I live and work and shop and I love my neighborhood. It’s the neighborhood where my late husband grew up. When I walk to my MIL’s home, the market square the route I take.🧵

I got 2 dish towels, some magnesium drink powder, toothpaste, skin cream, and a pen. And they’re not even my regular pharmacy.

Best reason to go to pharmacies in Germany this time of year: buy even just OTC meds and you’ll often get some sort of little gift. Some of my fave tree ornaments came from my pharmacy.
