Hoping this looks like the twitter of old. I seriously could not see hardly any weather/Aurora posts over there for all of the algorithm choices for me! I like current news, but not to be clobbered with politics/WWIII news as soon as I open the app! So I'm looking for you here!
Wowzers! Now this is a storm! Ive never seen the road turn red, green yes. How beautiful! Had to look south. I also saw an amazing green blue bolide. Anyone see that?Sadly it wasnt in frame.

My first storm of the season. So nice to see them. I could not chase today. My target area produced a land spout I hear. At least I can still pick a target. Ha! So grateful for all of this rain! #mbstorm

This was done very well. The poor guy at the end! As if being caught in a deadly Tor wasnt enough! I love to see tor genesis, but always hope they do no harm.

A lone frosted Tree, on a stark Winter prairie, bathed in full moon light, with a touch of Aurora. One of my favourite things about Winter! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and well, onward to 2025! I'm looking forward to everyday and night! Cheers! Thanks for following me here!

Back to monsoon season '22. This windmill is on the Navajo Nation near the village of Gap. This storm produced a ton of CGs for me.

The last 4 or 5 years I've released my annual SKYDRAMA storm chasing flick on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, but not this year. I'm way behind this year, but I am working on it today! Give me 5 to 10 days.

Here's 20ish seconds from Lincoln/Waverly, Nebraska on April 26th, 2024.

If this tornado picture were 60 feet wide and 40 feet tall and you stood right in front of it, it still wouldn't take up as much of your vision as it did in real life. You can't sum up a supercell in a picture.

Juston Drake & I only got a glimpse of the relatively large, rain-wrapped, tornadic circulation near Custer City, Oklahoma, on May 19, 2024, but we got really close to another twister near Yukon later that night. #okwx

Wow! Gorgeous shot!
In the “sure could use a supercell with a view” phase of SDS. In about a month, I expect to enter the “anything involving convection will do” phase. 🙃

This shot over a small Oklahoma homestead last month involved a close sprite grouping. The almost circular pattern can be seen where sprites trigger in the QE field conditions centered around the parent stroke.

Night chasing is a different animal. You never know what you're going to get. You see it in flashes of lightning. I know many people don't like poles/wires in the photo, but I like them for scale and also you get a sense of how low these storms get to the ground. Is #wxsky what we use? #stormhour
