Trump's tariffs drive economy off a cliff. Thanks, Republicans. You wanted this.

As Trump's ludicrous tariffs tank the economy, I hope Republicans are happy. This is what they voted for.

I just questioned our nation’s top national security officials in the House Intelligence Committee hearing. They could not admit that the messages in their signal chat were classified. This is ridiculous, they know better, and they are lying to the American people. Pete Hegseth must resign.

it’s still so wild to see the former editor of POLITICO Magazine take this turn

makes you wonder what folks feel behind the gilded wall of that media company right now
Today—right now, right here—is the easiest line to draw against Donald Trump. Every day, it will get harder—the politics more inevitable, the destruction more irreversible, the sheer waste more costly, the downstream impacts on American life more catastrophic. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/today-righ...

What a horrifying doozy these first two weeks of the Trump administration have been. YOWZA. I’ve been pacing myself by focusing on climate policy, since it’s nearly impossible to keep up with everything. Here, in @rollingstone.com, is what I’m thinking so far:

What Now for Climate Under Trump? Act Locally
Trump is working to sabotage climate solutions — but there’s a lot regular people can do to push cities and states to fill the growing federal void.

Look closely at the first two weeks of Donald Trump’s second term and you’ll see something very different than what he wants you to see.
