I was mystified by my 35 (I'm 61) until I remembered that my 21yo uses my phone when we're in the car since she can't charge hers and plug into aux at the same time. Turns out I don't even revognise some of the names on "my" list.
(But Pulp is all mine!)

My 21yo daughter uses my phone to connect to the radio when we're in the car. Apparently I'm 35. My list is .. inconsistent.

It would be so helpful if you could RT my post above about last🌲orders for my casts of real flowers & tiny bird jewellery in my etsy shop. The algorithm isn't so kind to small businesses here & a RT will help me put my Etsy shop in front of more eyes. I'd appreciate it so much, thankyou 🌿

35 (actually 61). When I looked at the songs realised it's mainly my 21yo connecting my phone to the radio on car journeys so she can charge hers (bloody iPhones...) Apart from Pulp. They're all mine.

This is one of my favourite SciComm moments of BlueSky. A masterclass in making a message suit the medium.

On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

Overseas aid is dwarfed by the hard-earned remittances people send home. Grrrrr this is a disgusting proposal on so many levels.

In Devon CC elections last year Labour won the popular vote across the 9 Exeter seats as a group. They didn't win a single seat. In 3 seats Reform won thanks to Labour voters voting Green, even when the Green candidate was a 19yo leaving town for uni in a few months.

As I think it may be part of your day job.... What can I read to understand how productivity is measured /compared? Will my guesses of why public sector is not keeping up likely be true, or is there darker forces at work? Or lies?

Does David Attenborough know about this? Not being facetious.

At least there's now a good reason to start saying 'X' instead of pigheadedly (talking about myself) sticking with 'Twitter' - Twitter is the pre-enshittification version, X is post-apocalypse

I honestly think (admittedly based on my medical experience of 0) that he tipped into mental illness a while ago and there needs to be a "don't feed him" group pledge. Hard to believe the same brain is at work now and 20 years ago

As I don't have a front garden for a gnome, I want that one as a door knocker. 😁

@peterstefanovic.bsky.social This happened in Phillips dept on her watch, correct? Has anyone asked Lucy Powell what she thinks of this? Adoptive families were getting potential access (you have to apply for and justify ASGSF) to less in one year than residential foster are costs PER WEEK.

Worth mentioning that the average cost of residential foster care is about £350,000/year - about the same PER WEEK as adoptive families could get PER YEAR.

Also love how the article doesn't use the term "Child Benefit" as then we'd instantly know that half those people are just taxpaying parents who get child benefit (ooh, £100 month) just like everyone else. Also not convinced numbers aren't doubled-counted for someone on low pay - UC + CB + ?

Few British people realise that some European countries don't have dual citizenship, so some Europeans have lived here for decades on PLR. (And that they often still can't vote despite being full taxpayers!)
