@lukelukeluke.bsky.social I don't suppose you have great advice about drying mushrooms for artistic purposes? This 3.5kg turkey tail was next to non-stop traffic fumes, I think not safe for food or medicine

I assume the UK will be bringing Shamima Begum home by the end of the week to avoid being total f'ing hypocrites?

A friend recently sent me a photo of a dining table I made in 2009 and I immediately thought of you so thought you might enjoy looking at it. It was a pleasure to do, and in retrospect very therapeutic!

And yes, you can also vote by post. Including from abroad if you are a Canadian citizen.

Or you can vote ANY DAY before the 22nd at an Elections Canada office.

The Canadian federal election is Monday, 28 April. Polling station hours vary to ensure results are coming in at about the same time across the country's 6 time zones, but are always 12 hours long. But I particularly love advanced polling days, that ensure that everyone can easily vote. UK take note

Last one... 12th century list of relics held by Exeter Cathedral, including the beard of St Peter, the arm of St Piran, and the shirt of St Thomas Becket. Call me childish but I want this list to be set to music a la Tom Lehrer's 'The Elements'.

Pretty sure my daughter found her first piece of fossilised wood last weekend. Can anyone confirm? The other side is bubbly iron pyrite. #fossilfriday @tomsharperocks.bsky.social @anjanakhatwa.bsky.social @nataliajagielska.bsky.social @charmouthhcc.bsky.social

It's an art installation that is there for a month, Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon. Annoyed I didn't get a pic of myself balancing it on my fingertip #childishmoi?
