Haven't drawn in forever so I sketched for the first time in a long time AND tried a different art app. Takes some adjusting but WOW, Adobe Fresco is leagues ahead of Procreate. Now what am I going to do with all those Procreate brushes I bought...

YESSSS. Paris Paloma's new song, Good Boy (unrelated to the movie I saw lol). You might know her OTHER powerful song "Labour". She writes her own, her lyrics are poetry and her voice is a solid argument for the existence of angels. So happy she came out with another song. 🥰🤩

Saw Good Boy 2025. Not quite what I was expecting, but it's a very touching movie, and you just HAVE to appreciate the dedication! It was a group of 4-5 people who filmed a dog over the course of 3 years for 400 days. Wow! Check out the Does The Dog Die site if you want a spoiler 😁.

Peet's Coffee barista straight up laughed at me when I wanted an iceless frappe 😂. I swear the consistency is different from other versions of the same flavor. Latte? Cold-brew? Nope. Frappe is thicker and the flavors stronger to make up for how all of the dang ice washes out most of the taste.

Saw Superman 2025 and it was perfect! Normally I don't like action scenes, these were great and not dizzying. Humor was just right without being Marvel comedy. It embraces the innate corniness of Superman, had a light-hearted world but high stakes, everyone did a great job. Definitely watching again

I just found Ava's comic through a YT post! It's grayscale, my FAVORITE 😍, has gorgeous art, expressive faces, tons of personality, and has the creepy touch of a gothic horror. Very intriguing story and highly recommend! Also, what a cool title is Along the River Phoria!?
New page of Along The River Phoria up! Tensions flare!

I think the most amazing thing about reading is how this is not inherent to us, it's truly a human-made skill, and it is one that is beneficial to us and has minimal downsides. That can't be said about many human-made things. It's worth celebrating each time!

24k words written in 4 days! And because I've been pantsing it big time I might actually be at that point where I need to go back and become a plotter again because I'm confusing myself...

Mad it took me reading it 3 times to understand. I'm really bad at pun comprehension but that's just gonna have to be okay lol.

So I've been working on this fantasy project for over 15 years right?

Then I got this idea to completely reimagine it and throw all 5 books out.

I'm brainstorming book 1. That's where I'm at right now.

It has NO choice but to be worth it now. Consider this an official warning, Me. 🙃

Firm believer that it's perfectly okay to re-gift if you believe the person you're re-gifting to would use it because you know them and know what they like or need. THAT is when the thought counts. (Being upfront is nice too)

And it's environmentally-friendly!

Had a dream where aliens came and yelled at us from the sky and blew things up if we weren't quiet. If we wanted to walk anywhere we had to do it by lunges, with 2s pauses. I have a lot of alien dreams but this was the first time the aliens spoke. And it was to tell us to shut up

“Is it okay for a social media platform to be an echo chamber” back in the day we had websites and websites were generally focused on a single topic and if you were into that topic you would visit that website and if you weren’t into that topic you just didn’t go on that website and it was fine

Being sick with a cat is using saline spray, blowing your nose, discarding tissue with one hand because your cat is purring on your other one and you don't have the heart to move them. And then he knocks your notebook off the chair and you can't grab it.

Just read @nondriver.bsky.social's wonderful new book, "When Driving Is Not an Option," on US car dependency—& the people who cannot partake in that system.

Anna Zivarts pulls together stories & striking facts: >25% of Americans are nondrivers.
