In a world of denial, it’s not easy to know who supports us. Advocacy on social media & through community networks helps us weather these storms together.

How are you? I’m fine…. Why do we do this?

🤐 Because explaining all of it is exhausting - physically, mentally, and emotionally. #LongCovid is complex, and most people don’t truly understand it. And many would rather not know.

The protective effects of natural infection against repeated exposure to SARS-CoV-2 reduced substantially after the emergence of the Omicron variant, according to a study in Nature.

A decline was observed in both the level of protection and duration of immunity in the post-Omicron era. 🧪
Differential protection against SARS-CoV-2 reinfection pre- and post-Omicron - Nature
Two distinct patterns in the protective effect of natural infection against reinfection in the Omicron variant versus pre-Omicron eras show that SARS-CoV-2 immune protection is shaped by dynamic interaction between host immunity and viral evolution.

1. If Trump runs out of immigrants to persecute, I suspect the next target for his performative sadism will be people with disabilities. Already, without a shred of evidence, he has blamed the air crash on disabled air traffic controllers, with horrible, stereotyping slurs about their disabilities.🧵
