Dems are saying this bill is a fix because

But literally the next line in the ban still says,
“places the female at risk of death”
You don’t need to be an English major

Reproductive justice includes the right to raise our families in safe environments, free from state-sanctioned violence. ICE's actions are horrific. Mahmoud Khalil should be at home with his wife, preparing for the arrival of their child. Protesting genocide should not get you put in jail.
Violently and illegally taking Mahmoud Khalil away from his wife when she is eight months pregnant so that she is alone and he can’t be there for the birth of their child is so evil and tragic. I hope they are reunited before then
