I might miss stuff because this isn't my area of expertise. But I do know that an estimate of 50% efficiency gains from AI is *ridiculous*. Even their lower bound of 15% is super generous.

Furthermore, the possibility of negative gains, something that happens with AI, isn't even consider.
Pg. 28 “AI and automation can deliver productivity gains of 15% to 50%^ in key functions where there is notable manual/repetitive work in the current state, potentially reducing staff effort in FTE terms or redirecting it toward other improvements.” “^Early research on productivity gains from Gen AI use vary significantly depending on the organisation context and how the tool is used. A conservative estimate of 15 - 50% has been assumed.” While unsourced, this estimate is not conservative. Estimates of productivity gains from AI vary, some estimates are as low as 2.8%.Others have had negative findings, including that AI increased workload for the majority of participants. In other bait news, Catherine Wedd's "Social Media (Age-Restricted Users) Bill" defines a "social media platform" thusly, which is some bullshit because surely it would categorise SMS as such.
For the purposes of this Act, social media platform means: (a) an electronic platform that satisfies the following conditions: (i) the sole or primary purpose of the platform is to enable online social interactions between 2 or more end-users: (ii) the platform allows end-users to link to, or interact with, some or all of the other end-users: (iii) the platform allows end-users to post material on the platform; or (b) an electronic platform specified in regulations.
