If you are angry, as you should be, that restricting access to the vaccine will make covid worse and more dangerous, please start wearing a mask, which actually does a significantly better job of preventing transmission in the first place.

They’re going to try to make you feel insane for opposing this war. They’ll ignore protests and downplay any opposition. They’ll try to strongarm you into submission.

They did it with Iraq and they’ll do it again.

And then a few years later they’ll pretend they were with you all along.

People have no problem helping the billionaires get even richer, even if it means cutting social programs that the most vulnerable need to survive.

Sometimes I wonder if that’s because people think they’re more likely to become a billionaire than disabled or homeless.

I’ve got some news for them…

Colleagues I’ve worked with at the USDA just dropped a new paper confirming calves can be infected via H5N1 contaminated milk.

Hey Tom Brady, tell us more about how something else in this game reminds you of something that happened to you that one time…

I guess not a lot else is happening right now, so he’s using this time as brainstorming opportunity for an upcoming autobiography. Tiresome.

Still in the first half, it already two commercials where facial hair comes off and goes flying around.

How does that happen? Is it like the animated bug or asteroid movie duos?

General announcement:

The Department of Education is not abbreviated as “DOE”. (That’s Dept of Energy.)

The Dept of Education is apparently known as simply ED.

Which, I’ll grant you, is also confusing in its own way, but DOE ≠ ED.

I really hope Democratic lawmakers took notice of the actions of Sen. Schatz, Sen. Kim, and others today and observed how quickly they were celebrated by millions of voters.

This is not about getting the response 100% right or knowing exactly what the plan should be.

It's about making an effort.

USAID matters. I've often disagreed with their strategy and choices, but their work saves more lives than any philanthropy can. It's a rounding error in the federal budget, and one of the best things we do as a country. To see it destroyed overnight by one unelected man is an unmitigated horror.
