Funnily enough, the first thing I worked on was a dialogue system ! I knew I wanted to do a puzzle game with sci-hi/horror elements. And I wanted to have something story driven, where there was some dialogue with no branching.

I loved the dialogue system of Disco Elysium and started copying it.

Spent almost an hour on a flickering light, but I'm happy with the result.
