I had a dream there was a webcomic called Infinitefest, and it had really simple b/w stick figure drawings with dot eyes but they were doing really dramatic things with long overarching storylines, and I was arguing with someone about how the oversimplified art style wasn't the best way to convey it

Whenever I hear a song with lyrics written by an AI, I know it. I know it deep in my soul. I don't know how I know it. There's just something about it, the bland rhymes, the metaphors that aren't quite right. The shape of a song, but the texture is all wrong.

If we managed to communicate with orcas and it turns out we can be mutually intelligible, would their obligate carnivorousness make them less likely to support the cause of veganism? How would that work, morally, if one sapient creature needs to kill to survive.

I can't wait to be better at German so the verb of a sentence can, on a grand journey to the end of a giant sprawling endless series of clauses, each longer and more complex than the last, sometimes nested (such as like this), until nobody can identify the first clause of the sentence, be sent.

Isn't having an underpaid worker pilot a remote robot just alienating them from their labour even more, by having the means by which they work, their body, owned by a corporation? And by saying it's AI it removes all humanity and sympathy from the worker.

God damn had a rashomon style dream about a bunch of superheroes and villains being massacred, showing the backstory of each, and what drove them to that point. Every action they took inevitably brought them to the massacre, whether they wanted it or not.

Guess who spent five hours debugging a mystery memory corruption issue in my engine just to realise I had left a memory unloading function in the wrong place? It's me! I'm an idiot!

Meatless bolognese made with soy protein. It's alright, it's not my favorite but for the price I can't complain. It does need more meatiness, so maybe beef stock will help.
