Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is 100% clear that any person who had previously taken an oath to the US and then "engaged in insurrection" is barred from holding federal office. Colorado Supreme Court ruled Trump engaged in an insurrection. US Supreme Court did NOT overrule that. Trump is barred!

Having your lawyer defend your qualifications to be Secretary of Defense is not a flex. Hegseth is massively unqualified long before we talk about the many allegations of misconduct and malfeasance. The guy has never run anything larger than a small staff at a sock puppet PAC for the Kochs.
