Thinking about 'Andrew' and the Falkland Islands, here is a link to a free online book or paid if you want, on the conflict. You can decide for yourself who were really did do the hard work.

A relief to hear that the individual called 'Andrew' has now had plaques taken off places in the Falkland Islands is a relief. Just after the war veterans had to watch what they wrote. Now, veterans can now be honest about how he conducted himself, regarding himself a hero.

Best news this morning was reading that Andrew has had his name removed from plaques in the Falkland Islands. What a relief. Especially for those who had to work alongside him. For my work on the Falklands war producing tapestry weavings i interviewed many veterans. Now they can.

Joe is so far the only one to correctly identify the 2 traitors, looks amazing wrapped in a pink blanket, devastated at the loss of Celia and has the best Captain Scarlet walk over a bridge compared to the others. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him.

Scottish Gov have made a decision not to include diabetics T1&2 for free covid jabs. Found out this morning that Glasgow or Carlisle were my nearest places to get one and that i would have to pay £98.95 😦 Back to mask wearing?

No high tech get away, a ladder and motor bikes. Museums/Galleries will have to, if they can afford to, step up security on items that are small. Dread to think the greedy, money making people these jewels have gone to, already probably taken apart. 😢

The second photo down in the article leaves an uneasy feeling. Understandable to scatter ashes in the countryside of a loved one, but just not where people will be sitting and having picnics. 😬

Is it acceptable to scatter a loved one's ashes in the countryside?
Some hillwalkers are concerned they are coming across piles of ashes during treks in wild areas of Scotland.

Off to #Newport-On-Tay #Dundee in a wks time to do more research into #MarsTrainingShip that was moored in the #RiverTay - 1869-1929. Looking at photos of the boys that I will be weaving into tapestries. B/W photos can tell so much, but still ask so many questions! Research for this is great!

Last Saturday there was a memorial service at the Dundee International Submarine Memorial. I missed it by just 1 day. It is amazing how many people still don't realise that there was an international submarine base there. In remembrance to all those submariners.
