I'm grateful for Nonso's hard work on this project, Jörg's assistance with autophagy, Bernhards' hosting of our little group and the excellent teamwork with Roko.

The reviewers and editor from the Journal have also been great to shape the revisions and make the paper better.

Do other PARPs label substrates for degradation as well? In which conditions is this most relevant? How do ADP-ribose and ubiquitin connect to regulate degradation?

This is a very exciting finding, as it connect well with several recent publications that indicate that proteins modified by PARP7 are degraded. For example: doi.org/10.1016/j.ce...
