The Democrats should now label themselves as the Party of freedom. The Party who supports due process, civil liberties, academic freedom, etc. The Republicans have completely lost that with their embrace of Trump’s autocracy and police state. Americans value freedom very highly.

I will never forget or forgive this. Only one political party ever has done something like this. Only one politician has ever been responsible for anything like this. That person should have been impeached and convicted in the Senate. The Republican Party is a stain on democracy and the country.
