Spotted in Ballincollig today. One of the new digital kiosks being rolled out across Cork to replace some of the old phone boxes. It's main feature is the 1m x 2m led advertising screen. As if we didn't have enough clutter on our streets.

When you ask for one thing and get another...

"In 2023, a study was carried out on behalf of Cork City Council’s Climate Action Unit which found 92% of participants wanted more parks, biodiversity, and green spaces in Cork City: 89% wanted more trees on city streets."

It's good to see Bishop Lucey Park open again and there are some nice elements but overall it's rather charmless, cluttered and over-engineered. Strap yourself in for a rollercoaster ride of a thread (1/n)🧵 #Cork

Parts of the Regional Park in Ballincollig look like a mangrove at moment with large areas flooded. Might need to invest in a pair of waders for the weekly walk.

My buddy James and I will be turning this space into Cork City’s newest comic book shop, HD Comics. As central to Cork City Centre as you can get.

If you’re looking to sell some comics, send me a DM. Opening in the next few weeks.

Here's another recently completed garden mural. Really enjoyed putting this pop of colour on a bare grey wall to create a more inviting backdrop for this garden space.

This series of murals is the result of over a week's work of painting & several weeks of prep with students & their teacher, Ms Quilter, in St Brigid's School, Killarney.

My thanks to the students & Ms Quilter for their willingness, creativity, & hard work to get this massive project completed!

Painted for Sheila's Hostel in Cork. Technically tricky to paint on these locker doors but very happy with the results!

Really enjoyed painting this on the new platform at Kent Station for Irish Rail. Big shout out to my 4 year old boy and his train set for inspiring this one. Finished just in time for the official opening on Monday!

Last day for submissions on Northern Distributor Rd. Worth looking at this thread to see the negative effects the current preferred route will have on existing and proposed parks for Cork. Get your submissions in and ask for better!
Alternatively, you can make a full written submission here, again before the deadline this Thursday, 10th April. (12/12) End of 🧵

Studying the #Cork Northern Distributor Road proposals it looks like it will decimate many proposed parks on the northside of Cork city. Murphy's Rock, the North West Regional Park (Hollyhill), North East Regional Park (Glanmire), Lee Fields extension. All get similar treatment. (1/n)
