This is my profile. Who cares?
Just saw a report that is using AI to generate videos of kidnapping victims and the correspondent said it's a "powerful use of AI". No, it's ghoulish and awful.

I've decided to do an entire franchise watch of The Pink Panther. I've never seen any in their entirety.

Listened to the latest episode of The Losers' Club Podcast and again I'm in agreement with @juliacmarchese.bsky.social on Pennywise doing something not previously established in his power set.

We have Chicken Pot Pie. Now let me clarify. Our Chicken Pot Pie is not in a pie at all. It's Chicken served with thick noodles and vegetables in a thick broth. It looks like this.

Remember when they remade The Omen and it seemed like the only reason was because Fox was like "We can release this on June 6, 2006"

I would make a terrible film critic. I got to see a movie way before the public and for free. Five stars

When someone says I have so much to offer I really have to restrain myself from laughing at them.

I wish I could like myself but I don't see that happening any time soon.

List 3 things you think you're known for and your followers will tell you if you're right or wrong

1. Having no talent
2. Consistently letting people down
3. Being a waste

I know they didn't finish all of the previous films in the franchise but could the @hdtgm.bsky.social crew and @scottaukerman.bsky.social reteam for this?

Cozy mystery shows are definitely my go-to when I need a comfort watch. So I'm binge watching Elsbeth right now and it's definitely one of the coziest of cozy mysteries.

Watching the superior Star Wars film in the new trilogy. And of course I'm that much of an easy mark I laugh at the "Holding for General Hugs" scene.

It's my day off and I'm still testing positive for COVID (feeling completely fine but tests have been reading positive) so I decided to watch the two movies in the new Star Wars series (Force Awakens and Last Jedi) odd they never finished it as a trilogy.

Rewatch of Jerry Maguire complete. Seeing at 38 hits a lot harder than it did seeing it in tween years.

I remember being introduced to Once Were Warriors at an age that may be considered way too young but I was definitely fascinated by it. I had no idea when I saw Die Another Day in theaters it was the same director but Lee Tamahori managed to instill a sense of fun and dynamic action in every frame

If I ever see a copy of Fast Times at Ridgemont High (the book) that doesn't cost an arm and a leg I am jumping on that thing in a heartbeat.

Going back through @blankcheck.bsky.social's Cameron Crowe retrospective and it makes me want to rewatch his stuff, especially since I haven't seen Jerry Maguire since it came out...on VHS.

Watching a movie called Film House Fever on Tubi. It's a compilation movie with clips broken up by random bits with Steve Buscemi dressed as The Last Mod on Earth and Mark Boone Jr. dressed like Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys.

I think Glen Powell gave away that the ending to The Running Man is going to be the same on an ET interview. He mentioned a scene in a plane where he "gets some bad news". Hmmmm.

Rewatched Scream VI earlier and it's good to know that Jenna Ortega's character has impeccable taste in podcasts with her @whmpodcast.bsky.social poster.

Scream 7 seems to be pulling a retcon with the fact that Sidney appears to only have one daughter. Also, they really could have done a bit of reworking to change Joel McHale's character name.

Rewatching Scream 3. Still not too big on it and I know it's been said again and again but my Lord Parker Posey is the Queen.
