Now they are arresting serving US Senators when they dare to question the administration. This is dictatorship, not democracy.

And damn all of you that voted for this.

pro tip: if you high-fived as cops were being bludgeoned with fire extinguishers on Jan 6, you don't get to say one fucking word about legitimate protests against ICE thugs and goons. just stick a fucking sock in it

@jefftiedrich.bsky.social Check out NASA's new budget if you have not yet. Here is a shot of the larger budget. NASA loses 25%, and in this the Social Security Administration is zeroed out.

Today is a reminder of Zelensky's superhuman stamina and strength. He deflected deeply unfair vile attacks in his 3rd language and kept it together while two bullies threatened his country's existence and repeated the tired but infuriating propaganda tropes of the aggressor.

We need a Revolution of the Normies.

I’m not being glib. This is a literal war between two different realities, one where a cabal of psychopathic cult leaders and messianic oligarchs enslaves us — and the other where we get a grip and destroy them instead.

A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.

Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.

They’re dropping like flies in the cold, wintry blast of justice! Not only did Kraken attorney Sidney Powell plead guilty yesterday and agree to testify, today “The Cheese” Kenneth Chesebro, who is apparently an Alex Jones fanboy, also pled guilty, this time to a felony, in exchange for testimony.

Layoffs cost exponentially more than they "save" on paper (they've done studies!). The brain drain and loss of morale cause even more people to leave, until all the creativity and expertise you actually built your business on is gone, and you start again from scratch. The people ARE the business
What a novel idea—not laying off your staff as soon as a project's over, and letting them cook the next game with all that hard-earned experience, chemistry, and pride.
