Anyone who is buying your art for use in their game is paying for two things. 1) your time, labour, and expertise for creating the image. 2) a license to reproduce your artwork in their product and promotional material.

They do not, under any circumstances, *NEED* to own the copyright.

I've not seen the "final" director's cut version... might have to just investigate that one myself as I don't think the rest of the household has any interest in "starting again" with the film. *laugh*

Maybe next time I'm home alone for movie night.

I think both felt not enough blades were being run upon to maintain their interest.

Which version of Bladerunner do you consider to be the definitive one for you?

I've seen at least two, the Director's Cut and the Voice-Over Cut (whatever that one is called)... but I think there are more.

We called it at just over halfway done, as neither were engaged enough to push through, and, really, I don't blame them. It's visually stunning... if you're into practical effects, but it really does drag.

"I think I may have been thinking of a different movie." was my spouse's eventual response.

So, we attempted #Bladerunner tonight with my spouse and 14-year-old; the youngest was out for the night and wasn't interested anyway.

It had been a long time since I'd watched it; this was the Director's Cut edition... and, dang, is it a slow plod.

Neither of the others could make it to the end.

I believe there was even a "default" setting that didn't show you responses to top posts that didn't have at least two Likes, but they may have gotten rid of that; going to see if I can remember where that setting was.

I'm getting so little engagement on promo stuff here I kind of feel the same way.

I mean, it's seemed that engagement and sharing here is far less than at the Old Place, but seeing accounts with 10k+ followers with posts with promo posts with 3 Likes and 2 Reposts it seems rather suss.
