Brexit: “that great victory for the sovereign right to cock things up”… give ourselves food poisoning, lose control, swamp ourselves in red tape, pay more for stuff and stubbornly isolate ourselves from our own continent…

A relentless, ruinous stupidity.

Of course, the people whose lies & provocations prompted the riots remain active on the platform owned by Elon Musk. Even, I think, people whose posts were judged to have broken our law.

BBC get complaints regarding impartiality and breaking their own code of conduct.
Action taken.
BBC change the criteria regarding impartiality and therefore conform to their code of conduct.
Result.
BBC carry on as normal.

Remember that Brazil shutdown Twitter in their country and eventually Elon Musk came crawling to them and did whatever they wanted to open it up to them.

But I thought it was only NHS Scotland that was falling apart. Didn't Anas Sarwar say we need to ignore what's going on with the NHS in England & Wales?

When will a BBCScotland reporter breathlessly chase Anas Sarwar down a corridor in Holyrood demanding he answer questions on when he knew about the arrest & charges on stalking offences against Glasgow Labour councillor & former Lord Provost Philip Braat? Or is it only the SNP they do that to?

I think you're all missing the point of these weasel words from Labour.

The sentence in Starmer's head runs "... if I get another term in office". You didn't think he meant right now, did you?

The vast majority of people in the UK hate Brexit.

There should be a nationwide strike in the UK until we rejoin the Single Market.

Nigel Farage is on BBC Question Time again this evening, the programme which normalised his brand of obnoxious hard right xenophobia. Unsurprisingly the episode isn't coming from Clacton. The BBC has a lot of the blame for the rise of the far right in the UK.

Unionists in Westminster are making a big deal of voting through a proposal (which will never become law) to use PR in local elections.

Ignoring the detail that it's already used in Scotland.

Scotland doesn't need new nuclear. We have sufficient green energy generation. But only regaining independence let's us block Westminster forcing it on us.

And yet @scottishgreens.org still play games over the budget with @thesnp.bsky.social ? We need a disciplined Indy Bloc.
Scotland will have nuclear imposed on it whether we want it or not (Torness is an ageing Nuclear Plant😉), to ensure security of supply for North East England. 🤷‍♂️

During the Cost of Living Crisis the big 4 supermarkets Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons increased the profit they make on every litre of fuel from 2p to 5p.

They have kept it like that, and that is why they have their ridiculous profits.

That's profit from owning the Electricity Transmission that they spend only £150m a year maintaining, and that you used to own only 20 years ago.

Another £100 a year on everyone's bills for their profits.
