Finally cooked my first meal in the new kitchen. Just my normal spaghetti, but it’s good. Really digging having a normal pantry instead of two overhead cabinets I can barely reach!

At the vet for check ups for Binghe and Yuan, and Binghe has just completely made himself at home. Ridiculous! 😆💚🤭
(And Now Yuan keeps standing up on the sink to groom him but he stops every time I try to get a picture! 😅) #Cats

Hey all, the Civic Media Center here in Gainesville, which is an independent non-corporate leftist #library & #archive and important #mutualaid organizing space, is in trouble. It’s entirely donation supported & we’re $800 short on September’s rent, due last week.

FINALLY ordered an archival box for my #zines, & just sat down and alphabetized & sleeved all the ones I’ve gotten this year. So satisfying! I have a few I need to track down on my shelves but most of my collection I got this year @ GNV Zine Fest & @ Zine Pavilion @ ALA.

Gah. Heart still acting up even though I’m lying down. Gonna try to do something very calming and soothing now to lower my HR from the frantic pace of the last half hour.

I need every kitty medicine to be as tasty as Yuan’s pain medication apparently is. Life would be so much easier when they’re sick. He loves this stuff though, all I have to do is let him see the syringe and he starts trying to lap it up on his own. No fuss, no struggle, just easy peasy! #Cats

In other news, Yuan has apparently eaten something long and inorganic (theory is string) & it’s stuck in his intestines. Trying to flush it with fluids tonight, but if X-ray isn’t clear tomorrow morning will have to try more invasive removals. Poor dumb baby.

Not having the greatest day or week. Still a bit below baseline from last week’s shenanigans. But the cats continue to brighten my life, as I hope they will yours. So have a picture of Peanut snuggled between my legs like the adorable fluff ball she is. #CatSky

Peanut is doing a lot better and has started integrating relatively well into the household with the other cats, but she’ still on some meds which are giving her some gastric distress. Including the most vile farts I have ever encountered in any cat. Which she keeps loosing in my face. 😭 #CatSky

Peanut is still pretty sick, but had a good treatment session yesterday that cleared out her lungs a good bit, and she is VERY SPICY today because of it! Her territory has also expanded to include the bedroom now, so more leaping space. #CatSky

Local alternative coffee shop (it’s my fave because it has a drive through & also used to go there regularly with my partner before she moved away) June specials. I got the Bi Wakening of course. 😏 🩷💙💜 It’s extremely delicious!

Anyway, Peanut update to brighten a difficult day: she loves snuggling still and likes having her belly rubbed, and her eyes are looking better enough I can tell their color finally! #CatSky
